The Carrera GT on offer was first delivered new to Japan where it has remained under single ownership, the owner has enjoyed driving this analog hypercar for a total of 28,000 kilometers before their decision to allow another custodian to take over.
Full documentation is available which includes the service reports as well as proof of single ownership. The Carrera GT was built between 2004 and 2005 making this example a final year model. In fact, while a total of 1,500 units were planned for production, Porsche cut that run short in summer of 2005 due to changes in the USA airbag regulations. The US was (still is)the largest market for Porsche, with a total of 644 units being sold there.
