SFS is happy to offer a brand new Ferrari Daytona SP3 for sale. This is the newest model in the Icona Series family, it joins the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 and will be limited to just 599 units worldwide.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is road legal unlike its two predecessors, it pays homage to the 1960s Sports Prototypes from the Maranello based brand. The name pays tribute to the 1-2-3 finish by Ferrari during the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967 where a Ferrari 330 P3/4 crossed the finish first, followed by a 330 P4 and a 412 P in a side by side fashion.
The Daytona P3 will mark the last true naturally aspirated V12 from Ferrari as the next generation of V12s will likely have some form of electrification – mild or full hybrid like the LaFerrari. Italian supercar makers are not ditching their V12s yet but they have been forced to introduce electrification to meet current emission regulations. Lamborghini already tested their next generation V12 in the Sian hypercar which features a 48v e-motor powered by supercapacitors.
