The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is the final iteration in the AMG GT family before a new generation is ushered in. The car follows the launch of the AMG GT R Pro and the AMG GT R Roadster, both are limited to 750 units with the roadster being numbered. The Black Series will be even more limited, we expect it to appear as a coupe only if AMG is to keep in line with the Black Series tradition. The AMG GT Black Series for sale we have will be among the first cars in the Europe. For our USA customers, we will advertise slots at a later date.
In the past, the Black Series model were limited to between 350 to 500 units. We have seen a C63 Black Series, an SL 65 AMG Black Series and the most coveted; the SLS AMG Black Series. These vehicles still hold value in the market over their “normal” AMG siblings. The SLS AMG Black Series for example can sell for over 500,000 euros in Europe. As opposed to the past, the new AMG GT Black Series will be more than just cosmetics, prototypes have spent endless hours at the Nurburgring, hinting at an even more hardcore and track oriented Black Series model.
